Martens. She was a member of the United Church of Christ, and the Calanthe Temple 3, Pythian Sisters. Surviving are four sons: G. Franklin and Carl L. Martens, here; Robert W. Martens, Loysville, Pa.; and Elmer L. Martens, Coatsville, Ind.; four daughters, Mrs. Lena Rizer, Youngstown, O.; Mrs. LaVerne Yutzy, Pocahontas; Mrs. Emma A. Walker, Las Cruces, N.M.; and Mrs. Eleanor M. Thompson, Baltimore; a sister, Mrs. Emma Compton, Winchester Road; and a brother, Herbert Tressler, Nemacolin, Pa.; 27 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren. The body is at the Durst Funeral Home. Pythian Sisters will hold a memorial service there tomorrow at 7:30 p.m. Services will be conducted there at 1:30 p.m. Thursday by Rev. George Wehler. Interment will be in Frostburg Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be John Lapp, William Kroll, James Brode, Arthur Irwin, William McKenzie and D. Michael Miller. The Cumberland Evening Times, January 26, 1971
