- Jacob N. Crosby, 82, died yesterday afternoon at Allegany County Infirmary. Born November 25, 1870 in Meyersdale, Pa., he was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Nathaniel Crosby. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Louis Tyree, city; a half sister, Mrs. George Sowers, Frostburg, and two grandchildren. The body will remain at the Hafer Funeral Home for services tomorrow at 2 p. m. Rev. Dr. H. Hall Sharp, pastor of St. Luke's Lutheran Church, will officiate and burial will take place in Eckhart Cemetery. The Cumberland (Md.) Evening Times, December 8, 1952
