- Dora Viola Mishler, 69, Garrett, died Feb. 2, 1988 in Meyersdale Community Hospital. Born Aug. 7, 1918 in Bedford County, a daughter of the late Silas and Viola (Miller) Scritchfield. Survived by her husband, Harry and these children: Kenneth Harry and Walter S., both of Somerset; Ross L., Cary W. and Carol Sue Barron, all of Garrett; Shirley Yates, Pickens, S.C.; and Dorothy Clark, Akron, Ohio; 25 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. Also a sister, Gladys Ludwick, Bedford. Member of the Meyersdale Church of God. Friends will be received in the Leckemby Funeral Home, Thursday 7-9 p.m. and Friday 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Services will be Saturday at 3 p.m. in the Meyersdale Church of God with the Rev. Walter T. Boring officiating. Interment, Mt. Lebanon Cemetery.
