- ELLERSLIE — Dorothy C. Bohn, 96, of Ellerslie, died Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2012, at Goodwill Mennonite Home, Granstville. Born Aug. 19, 1915, in Corriganville, she was a daughter of the late Benjamin and Rachel (Witt) DeVore. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Bohn in 1972; a brother Merle DeVore; sisters, Edna Morris, Mary Smouse and Elsie Combs. Dorothy was the last survivor of her immediate family. She is survived by a niece, Barbara Shroyer, of Ellerslie; great-niece, Linda Winner, of Haymarket, Va., and Sherry Stahlman of Ellerslie; and great-nephew, Mark Winner, of Germantown. Mrs. Bohn worked at the Celanese and Kelly Tire Company. She was a former member of Central Assembly of God and Chapel Hill Temple church. She also was a member of the Hyndman Senior Center. Friends will be received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Inc., 169 Clarence St., Hyndman, on Saturday from noon to 1 p.m. A funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. Burial will follow at Lybarger Cemetery, Buffalo Mills, Pa.
