- Samuel M. Logsdon, 76, of 2 Silver Street, Ridgeley, died yesterday at his home. Born in Eckhart, he was a son of the late Owen and Otilla (Filsinger) Logsdon. He was a retired Kelly-Springfield Tire Company employee, with 44 years of service, a member of Calvary United Methodist Church, Ridgeley Volunteer Fire Company, Ridgeley Rod and Gun Club and FOE 245, Cumberland. Surviving are his widow, Maryland V. (Null) Logsdon; a daughter, Mrs. Lois J. Lease, Mayaquez, Puerto Rico; a sister, Mrs. Annie Blank, Frostburg; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Friends will be received at the George Funeral Home today from 7 to 9 p.m. and tomorrow 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
