- HYNDMAN, Pa. - Henry Ellsworth Smeak, 57, a B. and O. employe, died yesterday in Memorial Hospital, Cumberland. A lifelong resident of this community, Mr. Smeak was a son of the late Jacob and Martha (Logsdon) Smeak. His wife, the former Lilly Poorbaugh, preceded him in death. He was a member of the B. and O. Brotherhood. Surviving are three sons, Ralph, Reginald and Russell Smeak, all of Hyndman; three daughters, Mrs. Suzie Cook, Mrs. Myrtle Minnick, and Mrs. Helen Conners, also of Hyndman; and three sisters, Mrs. Annie Mason, Hyndman, and Mrs. Ruth Swearman and Mrs. Suzie Lindeman, Meyersdale. Services will be held Saturday at 2:30 p. m. in Ziegler's Funeral Home with Rev. John Bucker, pastor of Hyndman Reformed Church, officiating. Burial will be in Hyndman Cemetery.
