- Lonaconing - Services for Mrs. Mary Ternent, 88, widow of George Ternent, who died Saturday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Florence Foster, Westernport, will be held tomorrow at 2:30 p.m. in Pentecostal Assembly of God Church here with Rev. C. E. Hunt, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Surviving are three other daughters, Mrs. Mahalie Grindle, Westernport; Mrs. John Johnson and Mrs. William Crowe, Lonaconing; a son, James Ternent, also of Lonaconing; a sister, Mrs. Ida McGee, Parkersburg, W. Va.; 27 grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren. The body will remain at the Crowe residence in Detmold until noon tomorrow when it will be taken to the church.
