He was born September 4, 1893, at Hyndman, R.D. 1, a son of the late Daniel Clites and Sarah (Porter) Clites. He was married to Lula (Snowden) Clites who preceded him in death on October 2, 1970. Surviving are four sons, Paul M. Clites, of Duncansville; Montell Clites, of Hyndman; Roy Clites Jr., of Detroit, Michigan; and Ronald S. Clites, of Hyndman, R.D. 1; and a daughter, Mrs. Anna Jean Liebegott, of Duncansville. A sister, Mrs. Nina Bohn, of Hyndman, R.D. 1, also survives, along with 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. The Bedford Gazette, October 15, 1979 Roy Carl CLITES and Lula SNOWDEN were married.
