Mrs. Christopher Martin - Mrs Catherine Martin, 87, of the Miller Rest Home, 150 W.Woodland Ave, died of infirmities at 3:10 p.m. Tuesday at the home. Mrs. Martin was born Oct. 20, 1867 in Maryland, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Rizer. She came to Youngstown about 40 years ago and before going to the rest home, she lived about 3 years with a daughter, Mrs. Pearl Jackson in Sand Patch, PA. She was a member of Hillman St. Christian Church. Her husband, Christopher Martin, died in 1932. Besides Mrs. Jackson, she leaves two other daughters, Mrs. Geneva Summers and Mrs. Alpha Webb, both of Youngstown; 5 sons, George of Meyersdale, PA; Howard of Belton, TX; and Roy, Charles and Louis of Youngstown; 27 grandchildren and 42 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Shriver-Allison South Side Funeral Home, where friends may call tomorrow evening. December 22, 1954
She was buried in Belmont Park Cemetery, Youngstown, Mahoning Co., Ohio.
