  Notes	Mrs. Rachel May DeVore, 82, died yesterday at her home in Ellerslie. She had been in ill health for some time. Born in Bedford County, Pa., she was a daughter of the late William and Catherine (Clites) Witt. Her husband, Benjamin DeVore, preceded her in death. Surviving are son, Merle DeVore, Ellerslie; four daughters, Mrs. Edna Morris, Cumberland; Mrs. Mary Smouse, RD 1, Hyndman; Mrs. Elsie Combs, LaVale, and Mrs. Dorothy Bohn, Ellerslie; a sister, Mrs. Anna Hasselrode, Hyndman; eight grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.The body is at the Zeigler Funeral Home, Hyndman, where friends will be received today from 7 to 9 p. m. and tomorrow from 2 to 4 p. m. and 7 to 9 p. m. Services will be conducted there Monday at 2 p. m. by Rev. Arthur Vespa. Burial will be in Porter Cemetery. The Cumberland News, February 12, 1966
