She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Clites. Surviving besides her husband are three daughters, Mrs. Henry Lowery, Ellerslie; Mrs. Walter Lowery, Hyndman, and Mrs. George Speelman, Ellerslie, and one son, Harvey Devore, Hyndman, 32 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Devore was a life-long member of the Evangelical church. The Cumberland Evening Times, September 15, 1941 She was buried on 16 Sep 1941 in Porter Cemetery, Hyndman, Bedford Co., Pennsylvania. PA Death Certificate - died from generalized arteriosclerosis and heart disease (had for 15 years)
