MEYERSDALE, Pa. — Genevieve Margaret Wilhelm, 93, of Meyersdale, Pa., died Saturday, Nov. 12, 2011, at Frostburg Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Frostburg. Born April 24, 1918, in Frostburg, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Pearl (Minnick) Drees. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Wilhelm, on Oct. 20, 2006; one daughter, Evelena Doell and one granddaughter, Chrissy Davis. Mrs. Wilhelm was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Pocahontas, Pa., and was a retired machine worker for New England Gear Works. Survivors include one son, Boyd Wilhelm, of Meyersdale; one daughter, Donna Kelley and husband Wayne, of Springs, Pa.; two sisters, Hilda Miller, of Pocahontas, and Margaretta Festerman, of Gap, Pa.; and eight grandchildren, Lori Smith and husband Roy, James Doell and wife Debbie, John Doell and wife Teresa, Steve Davis, Danny Doell and wife Cheryl, Alena McKenzie and husband Doug, Aaron Holler and wife Jennifer and Lucinda Brenneman. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2011, at 11 a.m. in St. Ann’s Catholic Church, Grantsville, with the Rev. Richard Gray officiating. Friends will be received at the church one hour prior to the funeral. Interment will be in Greenville Lutheran Cemetery, Meyersdale, Pa.
