- Henry F. Layton, 72, of Oldtown, died yesterday at Frostburg Community Hospital where he had been admitted Wednesday. He had been in failing health the past three years. A native of Finzel, he was a son of the late Howard and Mary A. (McKenzie) Layton. He was a former employe of Crabtree Orchards, Oldtown, and was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church, and Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 1273, Frostburg. He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Grace Evans, El Paso, Texas, and Mrs. Emma L. Wilson, LaVale, and a number of nieces and nephews. The body is at the Durst Funeral Home in Frostburg where friends will be received from 7 until 9 p. m. today and from 2 until 4 and 7 until 9 p. m. tomorrow. The Cumberland News, January 15, 1973
