"Juanita P. Higgins, 74, of Monticello, died 6:35 p.m. Tuesday, June 4, 1991, at Kirby Hospital, Monticello."
"Services were held 10 a.m. Friday, June 7, at the Monticello United Methodist Church with Rev. Leah Pogemiller and Rev. June Moll officiating. Burial was in Monticello Cemetery."
"Mrs. Higgins was born July 2, 1916 in Piatt County, daughter of William and Bonnie (Woodard) Gray. She married Linden Lindsley. He died in 1944. She married Lewis J. Higgins Jan. 30, 1947, in Bement. He survives."
"Also surviving are two sons, Richard Lindsley of Monticello and Dennis Higgins of Gibson City; a daughter, Sharon Harper of Raleigh, N. C.; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one brother, Gene Gray of Monticello; one sister, Norma Booty of Monticello."
"She was preceded in death by one grandson."
"Mrs. Higgins was former manager of the Deli & Bakery at Lindsley's Rec Fox Store in Monticello. She graduated from Monticello High School in 1934. She was a member of the Monticello United Methodist Church and a member of the 66 Club."
"Memorials may be made to the donor's choice, the Monticello Theatre Association, or the Shriners Crippled Children's Hospital."
