- Mrs. Clarence Sires – Midland – Mrs. Effie E. Sires, 78, of here, died yesterday at Frostburg Community Hospital. Mrs. Sires was born at Loartown, and was a daughter of the late James and Annie (Clise) Albright. Her husband, Clarence Sires, preceded her in death. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Delores Fatkin, Clarysville; Mrs. Zelda Shearer, Cresaptown, and Mrs. Elva McKenzie, Dover, Del.; two sons, Alvin, of here, and James Sires, Baltimore; a sister, Mrs. Ida Lease, Gilmore; two brothers, Alvin Albright, Aliquippa, Pa., and Alex Morton, Cleveland, Ohio, 21 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. The body is at the Eichhorn Funeral Home, Lonaconing, where friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be conducted there tomorrow at 1:30 p.m. by Rev. Kenneth Clary. Burial will be in Vale Summitt Cemetery. Cumberland Evening Times Monday, March 4, 1974
