- FROSTBURG - Mrs. Nannie M. Crowe, 57, wife of Walter E. Crowe Sr., Hoffman, died yesterday at Sacred Heart Hospital after an illness of several months. Born at Frostburg, she was a daughter of the late George and Ella (Meese) Arnold. Also surviving are five daughters, Mrs. Luther Korns, Midlothian; Mrs. Charles Fazenbaker, Hoffman; Mrs. Edwin Garlitz and Mrs. Roy Cutter, both of Frostburg, and Mrs. Robert Gray, Cumberland; four sons, Walter E. Jr., Hoffman; Larry C., LaVale: James D., Cumberland, and Wayne F. Crowe, New York City; two brothers, Hoye and Charles Arnold, both of Finzel; a sister, Mrs. Carl Whitaker, Frostburg, and 22 grandchildren. The body is at the Durst Funeral Home where friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be conducted there tomorrow at 1:30 p.m. by Jehovah's Witnesses.
