James A. Minnick, 54, of Clarysville, was dead on arrival Wednesday at Miners Hospital. Born in Frostburg, he was a son of the late Albert and Levorial (Caton) Minnick. He was a veteran of World War II. Surviving are his widow, Mary Margaret (Lancaster) Minnick; three brothers, Lawrence Minnick, Frostburg; Elmer Minnick and Conrad Minnick, both of Baltimore; and a sister, Mrs. Ethel McKenzie, Frostburg. The body is at the Newman Funeral Home, Grantsville, where friends will be received today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be conducted Saturday at 2 p.m. with Rev. Arthur Evans officiating. Burial will be in Johnston Cemetery. The Cumberland News, October 31, 1969
