- FROSTBURG- Margaret F. (House) Linn, 100 , of Frostburg passed away on Friday, November 7, 2014 at her home. Born November 12, 1913 in Lonaconing, she was the daughter of the Late Joseph Edward House and Rose (Prout) House. She is preceded in death by her husband David Morrison Linn and sons, James Joseph Linn and Morey Lee Linn. She was also preceded in death by 20 brothers and sisters, and daughter in law, Vicki (Kennedy) Linn , son in laws, Arthur McKenzie and Paul Brenneman, and grandson, Jeff McKenzie Family was the most important thing in Margaret's life. She had 9 children which included 5 generations of family. During her life, she worked at the Miner's Hospital and the Celanese. She was a member of Salem United Church of Christ. She is survived by sons, Gerald Linn and wife Dorothy of Norfolk, VA; David M. Linn of Frostburg; Richard K. Linn and wife Shirley of Frostburg; and William P. Linn and wife Judy of Massachusetts; daughters, Rose McKenzie of Mt. Savage; Elsie T. Lewis and husband Ronald of Cumberland; and Margaret Ann Brenneman of Frostburg; and a half brother George House of Fort Ashby. She is also survived by 24 grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren, and 21 great-great grandchildren. Family and friends will be received at the Sowers Funeral Home on Sunday, from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home on Monday at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Larry Burkholder officiating.
