- MOUNT SAVAGE — Ruth McKenzie, born in Mount Savage, daughter of the late William Henry Martin and Elizabeth Watkins Martin, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 11, 2004. She graduated from Mount Savage High in June 1933 and attended Catherman’s Business School. Ruth retired from the accounting department of the Kelly-Springfield Tire Co., in May 1981. She moved from Cumberland, to Naples, Florida in 1996. She was preceded in death by two husbands, John E. Barth and John E. McKenzie. She is survived by one daughter, Jacqueline B. Price, Bedford Pa.; four grandchildren, Frank Price Jr., Bedford, Pa., Patricia Braman and husband Daniel, Manns Choice, Pa., Eric Price, Hyndman, Pa., and Karen Ferguson and husband Stanley, Manns Choice; eight great-grandchildren, Cara Moorhead and husband David, Erin Huber and husband Troy, Bedford, Kristen Koontz and husband Micah, Westland, Mich., Jason Braman and wife Lianne, Everett, Pa., Jill Harding and husband Tristan, Sarasota, Fla., Bryan Braman and wife Lisa, Hollidaysburg, Pa., Christopher and Joshua Ferguson, Manns Choice; four great-great-grandchildren, Megan Moorhead, Trent Moorhead, Veronica Braman and Audra Braman; and two sisters survive, Rae Anna Patterson, Troutville, Va., and Elsie Barb, Cumberland, Md. At her request Ruth was cremated. A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family. Cumberland Times-News, Saturday, October 2, 2004
