George E. Robertson, 78 of 218 Columbia Street died yesterday at Sacred Heart Hospital. He had been in ill health for sometime,
A retired coal miner he was born in Midland a son of the late Joseph and Drucilla (Foote) Robertson. Surviving are his widow, Mary Wagus, Robertson three daughters Mrs, C.W. Conway and Mrs. Drucilla Valentine both of this city and Mrs. Fred Dodd Akron, Ohio . eight sons, John Robertson Springfield, Elmer, William and Raymond all of Midland, Howard Robertson Zihlman, Joseph Robertson this city Melvin Robertson Vale Summit and Willis Robertson New York City, a sister Mrs. Richard Elliot, Midland, three brothers, Joseph Robertson, Midland, William Robertson, Hagerstown, and Harry Robertson, Charlotte, North Carolina, 39 grandchildren and 40 great-grandchildren
The body is at the Eickhorn funeral Home, Lonaconing where the family will receive friends from 2 to 4 P.M. and 7 to 9 P.M.
Services will be conducted tomorrow at 3 P.M. at the funeral home by Rev, Frank J, Pratto, pastor of Central Assembly of God Church, Burial will be in Frostburg Memorial Park
