- Grantsville – Died on the 14th inst., of typhoid fever, Henry Curtin, son of Francis McKinzie, in the 16th year of his age. Curtin was a young man of fine physique, quiet and unassuming in manner and a great favorite. His death cast a gloom over this entire community. It will be remembered that Mr. McKinzie lost his wife on the 11th of September from the same disease. The bereaved parent and relatives have the sympathy of the whole community. His eldest son, Dennis, is also confined to the bed with the same disease, but it is thought that he will recover. The Republican, October 23, 1886
