- KEYSER — Oscar Ellis Hanna, 57, of 63 James Street, died Friday at Potomac Valley Hospital. Born in Frostburg, he was a son of the late Tally and Stella (Knapp) Hanna. He was a retired merchant, a member of Davis Lodge 51, AM&FM and Trinity Lutheran Church. Surviving are his widow, Kathryn (Staggs) Hanna; one son, Joseph Hanna; four brothers, James Hanna, Beryl, W. Va.; Rev. Tally Hanna, Oak Hill, W. Va.; Stanley Hanna, Keyser; and Homer Hanna, Detroit; two sisters, Mrs. Hazel Chapman, Piedmont, and Miss Hilda Hanna, Westernport, and two grandchildren. The body is at the Markwood Funeral Home. Services will be held there at 10:30 a.m. today by Rev. Edward M. Miller Jr. Interment will be in Potomac Valley Memorial Park. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Lutheran church building fund or to the Heart Fund. The Cumberland News, October 5, 1970
