- Ira Joseph Hershberger, 41, Cresaptown, was found dead at his home yesterday, and authorities said death was due to natural causes. A native of Cresaptown, he was a son of the late George and Mary Elizabeth (McKenzie) Hershberger. He was a former employee of the Amcelle plant of the Celanese Corporation of America and a veteran of WWII. Survivors include a brother, Lyle V. Hershberger, at home, and a sister, Mrs. Thomas Barnes, this city. The body is at the George Funeral Home where the family will receive friends today from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Cumberland Evening Times, Sunday, March 2, 1958.
Is buried in the St. Ambrose Catholic Church Cemetery in Cresaptown, Maryland.
