SEDUCTION and ABDUCTION -- A suit was commenced on Friday last in the District Court of Sacramento, by Daniel A. MAUPIN, against John Jasper Biggs, to recover the sum of $5,000 damages alleged to have been sustained by plaintiff by the seduction of his wife by defendant, and the abduction of herself and his children. MAUPIN states that he intermarried, on the 21st of June 1855, at Placerville, with Angeline Cox; that they lived together till the 1st of February, 1860, having issue a daughter, born on the 20th of April, 1856, and a son born on the 19th of August, 1857; that Biggs debauched his wife and alienated her affections; and, on the 1st of February, abducted said wife and children, conveying them to some place unknown.
