- bElisha Biggs/b, son of Jemima Cherry and James Biggs, was born in Martin Co NC soon before 1780. He was not found in TN, NC, nor in MS between 1830 and 1850. But in 1820 he was in Wayne Co TN with his family (Wayne Co is just east of Hardin Co where many of his cousins settled). Elisha's wife was born between 1795 and 1804. By 1820 he had three young children.
