Corporal in 1900 with Company K, 7th Infantry Regiment at Nome Barracks AK; later Sergeant. Commissioned 2 Lieutenant 28th Infantry in Aug 1901. Stationed at Fort Snelling MN in June 1905, with participation in the Spanish-American War recorded.
