At an Inferior Court of Justice held at the Courthouse for the said County on the first Tuesday in January Anno Domini 1763
PRESENT HIS MAJESTY JUSTICES
The Last Will and Testament of RICHARD FANSHAW having been then and there proved and the Executors qualified in due form was ordered to be registered accordingly it is and here followeth in his verba viz.
Being in perfect helth and of sound memory and in my proper sences, I make this my Last Will and Testament revoking and desonalling former wills of mine whatsoever. First I gave my sole that gave it me and my body to be buered at the decresion of my Executors-------
Item: I give and bequeace to my beloved Son Thomas FANSHAW the westard part of my plantation from the westerd line to a branch that marks out of a beauct dam and along the said branch to a slab marked gum to him and his heirs forever.
Item: I give and bequeave to my beloving Son DEAVIES FANSHAW eastwardmost part of my plantason and land that I now live on from y2 aformer chined branch to THO. Williams line that his son WILLIAM now lives on to him and his heirs forever.--------and in case my Son DAVEES FANSHAW is ever desterbed of theeth gift of the aforementioned land by JEANS BRENTS then I give and bequeave to my son DAVEES FANSHAW thirty one acres of land on a ridge comonly known and cauld Back Hall wheron I formeelly lived on-----
Item: I give and bequeave to my beloved Dafter SARAH MONCREF two shillings sterling money of Grat Breettan to her and her heirs forever-----------
Item: My well and desier is that after my just debts and legaces is paid that the rest of my estate both personal and reael be equely devided betwen Thomas FANSHAW, DAVES FANSHAW, TAMOR KEATON, KESIAH MONCREFF, MARGARET FANSHAW, and RICHARD FANSHAW, and BETHER BEGGS----
Item: I give and bequeave to my Dafter MARY BRIGHT two shillings sterling to her and her heirs forever-------
Father I appoint my friend WILLIAM Williams and my beloving Son Thomas FANSHAW my hole and (turn over) sole executors of this my Last Will and Testament as wittness my hand and seal this fifth day of Augest one thousand seven hundred and sixty
