Mrs. Mary E. Clark, 57, Meyersdale R.D. 3, died Nov. 22, 1978 at home. She was born July 2, 1921, in Larimer Township, daughter of late Frank Kennell and Pearl (Collins) Clark-Watkins. She was preceded in death by husband, Earl L. She is survived by mother and step-father, Ira Watkins Sr., Frostburg, Md., and these children: Carl, Meyersdale R.D. 3; Carol, wife of Cecil Petenbrink Jr., Garrett R.D. 1; and Helen, wife of William Young, North Canton, Ohio; also nine grandchildren. She was a sister of Mrs. Catherine Watkins, Mount Savage; Mrs. Beatrice Harden, Frostburg; Mrs. Alphia Sharpless, Bellaire, Md.; and Ira Jr., LaVale, Md. She was an employee of Meyersdale Manufacturing Co. Friends were received at Leckemby Funeral Home, Meyersdale. Services were held at Greenville Lutheran Church with the Rev. David Fetter officiating. Interment, church cemetery. Meyersdale, The Republic, November 30, 1978.
