      Harry S. Yaist, 74, formerly of Meyersdale, died Nov. 5*, in Youngstown, Ohio, where he had been residing. Born in Meyersdale, he was a son of the late Charles and Bertha (Housel) Yaist. Mr. Yaist was a retired stationary engineer for the Youngstown Steel and Pipe Co. A member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church and the IOOF in Youngstown, he was also a veteran of World War I. Surviving are his wife, Mary (Clark) Yaist; a daughter, Miss Elizabeth Yaist, at home; a brother, Clay, Youngstown; and a sister, Mrs. Ray Valiquette, Seattle, Wash. Funeral Service was held at Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale, on Tuesday afternoon, with Rev. Charles E. Staub officiating. Interment was made in White Oak Cemetery. Meyersdale Republican, November 10, 1966
