A son of the late Herbert Garlitz; and Mildred (Miller) Garlitz of Somerset. Preceded in death by brothers Kenny and Herbert Jr. and sisters Mary and Diane Hauger. Survived by three daughters: Katie, Sarah and Beth, all of Lonaconing, Md.; and niece, Rachael Hauger, and nephew Robert Garlitz; several aunts, uncles and cousins; and a good friend, Darlene Kerr of Bakersville. Arrangements under the direction of Newman Funeral Home, in Grantsville, Md., where services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday (today). Interment at St. Ann's Cemetery in Avilton, Md. Somerset Daily American, April 19, 1997.
