- LONACONING — Leonard A. Minick, 55, of Moscow, died yesterday at Frostburg Community Hospital. Born in Garrett County, he was a son of the late Joseph and Martha (Caton) Minick. A veteran of World War II, he was a member of Disabled American Veterans and Midland American Legion. Surviving are his widow, Freda (Garlitz) Minick; four sisters, Mrs. Helen Louck of Michigan; Mrs. Daisy Arnold and Mrs. Betty Fadeley, RD 2, Frostburg, and Mrs. Hilda Wilhelm, Avilton. The body is at the Eichhorn Funeral Home where friends will be received today from 7 until 9 p.m. and tomorrow from 2 until 4 and 7 until 9 p.m and where the rosary will be recited tomorrow at 8 p.m. Mass of the resurrection will be celebrated at St. Gabriel's Catholic Church, Barton, Saturday at 10 a.m. Interment will be in St. Anne's Cemetery, Avilton.
