- FINZEL — Ralph Andrew Brown, 52, of Finzel, died yesterday afternoon at Miners Hospital, Frostburg, after an illness of three weeks. A native of Finzel, he was a son ofv the late. James H. and Mary (Finzel) Brown. Mr. Brown was employed at the Celanese Corporation. Survivors include his widow, Marie (Pfaff) Brown, and a daughter, Mrs. Harley McKenzie Jr., Grantsville; a son, Robert Brown, at home; five sisters, Mrs. Charles Fate and Mrs. Ronald Albright, both of Akron, Ohio; Mrs. Harold Grove, Canton, Ohio, and Mrs. Donald Drees and Mrs. Anthony Drees, both of here; four brothers, Gilbert, John and Harold Brown, all of here, and Carl Brown, Akron, and three grandchildren. The body is at the Durst Funeral Home, Frostburg, where the family will receive friends today and tomorrow from 2 to 4 p. m. and 7 to 9 p. m. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of Pocahontas, Pa. The rosary will be recited at the funeral home tomorrow at 8 p. m. A requiem mass will be cele brated on Saturday at 8:30 a. m in St. Mary's Church. Interment will be in the Finzel Cemetery. Pallbearers will be James Werner, Albert Drees, Raymond Drees, Marshall Caton. Floyd Boyer and Harold McKenzie. The Cumberland Evening Times, December 12, 1957.
