  Notes	George H. Orner, 55, of Salisbury RD 1, died May 24, 1972, at his home. Born in Avilton, Md., he was a son of the late Samuel and Mabel (McKenzie) Orner. An employee of the S. J. Groves and Sons Construction Company, he was an associate member of the Salisbury American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars and was a member of the LOOM Lodge 76, Meyersdale, and FOE Aerie 965, Falls Creek. Surviving are his widow, the former Viola Wilt; a son, Roger Orner, Meyersdale; five daughters, Mrs. Ruth Miller, Cleveland, Ohio; Mrs. Helen Hollada, Salisbury RD 1; Mrs. Shelva Conn, Meyersdale; Mrs. JoAnn Weimer, Fort Wayne, Ind.; and Mrs. Shirley Anderson, Dickerson, Md.; 21 grandchildren; also a brother, Harry Orner, Salisbury RD 1; and two sisters, Mrs. Nelle Harding, Salisbury; and Mrs. Margaret Baer, Salisbury RD 1. The body is at the Thomas Funeral Home, Salisbury. A service will be conducted there Saturday at 10:30 a.m. by Rev. David E. Fetter. Interment will be in Salisbury Cemetery. The Cumberland News, May 25, 1972. He was buried on 27 May 1972 in Salisbury Cemetery, Somerset Co., Pennsylvania.
