- Mrs. Nellie Louise McKenzie, 74, of Cresaptown, died Tuesday in Memorial Hospital. Born in Black Oak, Md., she was a daughter of the late Charles H. Longerbeam and Sadie (McIntosh) McKenzie. She was a retired employee of the Cut-Rate Drug Store in Cresaptown. She was a member of St. Ambrose's Catholic Church, ladies club and choir of the church, past president and member of the Cresaptown Volunteer Fire Department and Ladies Auxiliary, past president of the Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion Post in Cresaptown, member of the Frostburg Eagles Ladies Auxiliary and member of the Senior Citizens club. She is survived by her husband, George H. McKenzie; a son, Robert D. McKenzie, Cresaptown; a sister, Mrs. Margaret Strickland, Cresaptown; a brother, James Longerbeam, Cresaptown, and two half-sisters, Jacqueline Huff, Front Royal, Va., and Evelyn Mallory, Berryville, Va. Friends will be received at the Hafer Chapel of the Hills Mortuary Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
