  Notes	Shirley Emogene Ternent, 82, of Lonaconing, died Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2018 at Egle Nursing and Rehab Center, Lonaconing. Born on Sept. 10, 1935 in Midland, she was the daughter of the late Alfred Ross and Bessie (Vanmeter) Ross. She was preceded in death by five siblings, Melvin, Alfred and Wilber Ross and Gladys Campbell and Beatrice Duckworth. Shirley was a 1954 graduate of Beall High School and had worked in housekeeping at Sacred Heart Hospital. She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Lawrence "Lolly" Ternent; two children, Lawrence "Larry" Ternent and wife Mary of LaVale and Barbara Cutter and husband the Reverend Blaine L. Cutter Jr.; five grandchildren, Christopher Cutter, Bryan Ternent, Justin Ternent, Jason Boyce, Adam Boyce and grandson at heart, Garrett Shingler; three great-grandchildren, Dashanti Garlitz, Madisen Boyce and Elijah Ternent; two sisters, Lois Hunt and Marion Majors; two brothers, Charles Ross and Raymond Ross; and numerous nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received on Sunday, Feb. 25, 2018, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Wilhelm-Eakin Funeral Home, P.A., Lonaconing. A funeral service will be held on Monday, Feb. 26, 2018, at 11 a.m. at The First Assembly of God Church, Lonaconing with the Reverend George Loar and the Reverend Blaine L. Cutter Jr. officiating. Interment will be held at Rocky Gap Veterans Cemetery, Flintstone, MD. Pallbearers will be grandsons and two honorary pallbearers will be Shawn Shumaker and Garrett Shingler.
