- Joseph E. Shuck – Eckhart, Dec 30 – Joseph Edward Shuck, 69, died early today at Miners Hospital, Frostburg, where he was admitted Thursday evening. He was employed by the Kelly-Springfield Tire Company, Cumberland, until his retirement seven years ago due to ill health. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Beulah (Cecil) Shuck; five daughters, Mrs. William Watson, Borden Shaft; Mrs. Clinton Pryor, Eckhart; Mrs. George Fike, Frostburg; Mrs. Hamilton Louchner, Chile, South America, and Mrs. Charles Hughes, Bowling Green; two sons, Wilbur Shuck, Frostburg, and William Shuck, Eckhart; a brother, Conrad Shuck, Chicago, and two sisters, Mrs. Carey Harvey, Bowling Green, and Mrs. Annabelle Thompson, Chicago. Mr. Shuck was a member of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Services will be conducted Monday at 2:30 p.m. at the residence with George McAlpine, Lonaconing, officiating.
