- Frostburg - John E. Fadeley, 82, of Finzel, died yesterday at Miners Hospital where he had been a patient for one week. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Henry Rosenberger, Meyersdale, Pa.; one son, Melvin Fadeley, Finzel; one step daughter, Mrs. Susan Caton, Garrett Co.; one step son, Ira Caton, Baltimore; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. The body is at the home of his son Melvin. A requiem mass will be celebrated on Monday at 9 a.m. in St. Mary's Catholic Church in Pocahontas, Pa., with interment in the Johnson Cemetery along Route 40 in Garrett County. He was buried in Emmanuel Methodist Cemetery, Garrett Co., Maryland. John and Laura share a grave marker with Melvin J. and Cynthia L. Fadeley, 1952, 1953, possibly a daughter of Melvin's.
