- Mrs. Elva Edna Stottlemyer, 85, of John F. Kennedy Homes, died Tuesday in Cuppett-Weeks Nursing Home, Oakland. A native of Cresaptown, she was a daughter of the late John D. and Mary E. Grant. Her husband, John H. Stottlemyer, preceded her in death. Surviving are two sons, John E. Stottlemyer and Francis L. Stottlemyer, both of this city; three daughters, Mrs. Francis Blank, Mt. Savage; Mrs. Mickey Bosley, Portland, Ore.; Mrs. Eugene Harris, Cumberland; two brothers, Richard Grant, Cresaptown; John Grant, Florida; one sister, Mrs. Bertha Stottlemyer, Cresaptown; 14 grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home from 7 to 9 p.m. today and tomorrow from 2 to 4 and '7 to 9 p.m. Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home by the Rev. Kenneth Owen. Interment will be in Hillcrest Burial Park. The Cumberland Evening Times, January 2, 1975.
