  Notes	Mrs. Bessie M. Ross, 80, of Midland, died Friday in Frostburg Community Hospital. Born in Riverside, W. Va., she was a daughter of the late Isaiah (sic: in Hannah's obituary, the husband is Isaac) and Hannah (McKenzie) Van Meter. Mrs. Ross was a member of First Assembly of God Church, Lonaconing. Surviving are her husband, Alfred Simeon Ross, five daughters, Mrs. Gladys Campbell, Franklinsville, N. Y.; Mrs. Beatrice Duckworth, Vale Summit; Mrs. Marian Majors, Frederick; Mrs. Lois Hunt, Vienna, Va.; and Mrs. Shirley Ternent, Midland; four sons, Alfred W. Ross, Elk Garden, W.Va.; Wilbur Ross, Frostburg; Charles Ross, Baltimore, and Raymond Ross, Bel Air, Md.; two sisters, Mrs. Grace Williamson, Keyser; Mrs. Edith Swaner, Ridgeley; a brother, Stanley Van Meter, Carpenter's Addition; 31 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the residence. Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. tomorrow in First Assembly of God Church, Lonaconing, by Rev. W. W. Martin. Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
