- DOVER, Ohio - Robert E. McKenzie, 64, of 201 East 11th Street, died Monday, Jan. 8, 1990, at Metropolitan General Hospital in Cleveland following a lengthy illness. Born July 13, 1925, in Westernport, Md., he was the son of the late Guy and Ada (Stuby) McKenzie. Mr. McKenzie retired in 1981 as a machinist for the Gradall Company at New Philadelphia. Surviving are his widow, Elva (Sires) McKenzie; two daughters, Sharon Daniels and Kim Grim, both of Dover; three sons, Robert McKenzie, Dover; Richard McKenzie, New Philadelphia; and Mark McKenzie, Punta Gorda, Fla.; four brothers, Frederick McKenzie, Charles McKenzie and William McKenzie, all of Westernport; and Guy T. McKenzie, Asheville, N.C.; two sisters, Margerite Chittum and Katherine Jones, Winter Haven, Fla.; and 10 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one brother. No visitation will be held. Services will be conducted Thursday at 11 a.m. in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home in Dover by the Rev. Rose Wilson. Cumberland Times-News, Tuesday, January 9, 1990
