- Westernport, Md., June 1 — Mrs. Jane McKenzie Clark, 43, wife of Jesse Clark, Linn street, this place, died last night at Potomac Valley Hospital, Keyser, W. Va., following an operation for appendicitis. Besides her husband, she is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Ray Wilson, Westernport, and a stepson, Arnold G. Clark, Jr. She was a sister of Harry and Walter Martin and Miss Mary Martin. The body was removed to the home of her brother, Walter Martin, and funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m., from the First Methodist Episcopal Church, Piedmont, with interment in Philos Cemetery, Westernport. Jane was married first to Earl Hayes McKenzie who died in 1918. She then married Jesse Vernon Clark who died in 1970. The daughter mentioned, Mrs. Ray Wilson, was the former Hazel Virginia McKenzie, who died in 1998. There was another child, Cathern Mary McKenzie, who died in 1914.
She is buried in Philos Cemetery, Westernport, Maryland.
