- FROSTBURG — Eva M. McKenzie, 93, formerly of 155 South Water St., Frostburg, died Tuesday, April 2, 1996 at the Frostburg Village Nursing Home. Born Nov. 14, 1902 in Frostburg, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Nettie (Myers) Gunnett. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ernest McKenzie, and a sister, Katherine Minnicks. Mrs. McKenzie was a member of the Welsh Memorial Baptist Church. She was a member of the Pythian Sisters. Surviving are one daughter, Frances Benny and husband Philip, Goldsboro, N.C.; one granddaughter, Bonita K. Davis and husband Dale, San Antonio, Texas; two great-granddaughters, Camata Davis, San Antonio; and Leland Davis, Beverly Hills, Calif. Friends will be received in the Sowers Funeral Home. Services will be conducted in the funeral home Friday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. William G. Boyer officiating. Interment will be in Frostburg Memorial Park.
