- Mt. Savage, MD- Juanita Grace See, 80, of Mt. Savage, MD, passed away Friday, June 20, 2014 at her home. Born January 9, 1934, in Cumberland, MD, she was the daughter of the late Alton Wesley Chaney and Mary Elizabeth (Malone) Chaney. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon L. See; her brothers: Jack Chaney and Donald Burley; and a sister: Marguerite Burley. A homemaker, Juanita was a loving, devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She attended Emmanuel United Methodist Church and was a member of the Mountain Chapter #15 O.E.S., Frostburg, MD; and the Ray Temple #118 Daughters of the Nile. Juanita was an avid bowler and played with the Wednesday Morning Musical Ladies Bowling League. Juanita is survived by her daughters: Belinda Keller and husband Charles, Ridgeley, WV; Verna-lynn See-Dunkinson and fiancée Carlton Woodward, Jr., Mt. Savage, MD; and Malinda Routhier, Springfield, WV; eleven grandchildren: Kim Brown, Kevin Kelly, Ethan Dunkinson, Alexis Dunkinson, Mark Kerr, Carla Maust, Michele Keller, Elizabeth Keller, Justin Johnson, Kristian Johnson, and Jessie Woodward; numerous great-grandchildren; and a half sister: Mary Hager, Lafayette, IN. Friends will be received at the Adams Family Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur Street, Cumberland, MD, on Monday, June 23, 2014 from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. and from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. The Mountain Chapter #15 O.E.S. will conduct a service at 6:30 P.M. A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. with Rev. Richard Jewell officiating. Interment will be in Porter Cemetery. The family would like to give a sincere thanks to the staff of the WMHS-Home Hospice for all the care and compassion given.
