SARAH MCKENZIE DIES HERE MONDAY" "Funeral services for Mrs. Sarah McKenzie, 84, Monticello were held at 9 a.m. Wednesday in Bement Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. Andrew Dzuryo officiating. Burial was in Monticello Cemetery." "Mrs. McKenzie died at 3:20 p.m. Monday at Kirby hospital here. She was born March 26, 1864, at Effingham and was married to Michael Edward McKenzie on September 10, 1882. They lived at Altamont and moved to Monticello in 1900." "She leaves three sons, Pearl, Francis and Earl, all of Decatur; two daughters, Betty, at home, and Mrs. John Wilcutt of Morehead, Minn.; and several grandchildren, including Lewis J. Higgins of Monticello, who was reared in the McKenzie home. Her husband and two daughters preceded her in death."
