FROSTBURG - Ruth McKenzie, 68, of 95 West Main Street, died Saturday in Frostburg Community Hospital. She was born in New Germany, the daughter of the late Franklin and Estella (Hanlin) Broadwater. She was a retired employe of Amcelle Plant of Celanese Fibers Company. Mrs. McKenzie is survived by two sons, William and Paul McKenzie, both of Euclid, Ohio; two daughters, Mrs. William Miller, Frostburg, and Mrs. Robert Tipping, Euclid, Ohio; three sisters, Mrs. Melva Crowe, Frostburg, and Miss Myrtle Broadwater and Mrs. Mae Alvaro, Keyser; one brother, Lee Broadwater, Grantsville; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Services will be conducted today at 1:30 p.m. at the Hafer-Sowers Funeral Home with Rev. Clarence A. Kaylor officiating. Interment will be in Frostburg Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Michael Miller, Rodney Miller, Joseph Tipping, Orville Hoban and Charles Dayton. Cumberland News, January 19, 1976
