  Notes	LUKE — Carrie Ort (Kiddy) McKenzie, 92, formerly a long-time resident of Luke, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2002, at the residence of her daughter, Patsy McDonald, Tacoma, Wash. Prior to taking up residence with her daughter for the past 12 years, Mrs. McKenzie resided in Luke nearly 50 years. Born Jan. 31, 1910, in Midland, she was the daughter of the late Matthew and Annie Kiddy. Her husband, Aloysius McKenzie, died in 1969, and three sisters and one brother preceded her in death. Mrs. McKenzie was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Surviving are her two daughters, Joann Shimer and husband Robert of Westernport and Patsy McDonald of Tacoma; a son, William McKenzie and wife Thelma of McCoole. Also surviving are eight grandchildren, Chris Shimer, Diane May, Ray McDonald, Frank McDonald, Shannon Morgan, Shane McKenzie, Shawna McKenzie, and Sean McKenzie, six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. McKenzie was cremated at her request. A Memorial Mass will celebrated on Saturday, Oct. 5, 2002, at 10 a m. at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Westernport, with Father Adam Parker as celebrant. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the mass. Inurnment will be in St. Peter’s Cemetery, Westernport. In lieu of flowers, memorials maybe directed to St. Peter’s Catholic Church. The Boal Funeral Home, Westernport is in charge of arrangements.
