- Todd Edward Kennell, 55, of Mount Savage, passed away Saturday, Sept. 12, 2020, at UPMC Presbyterian, Pittsburgh, Pa. He was born Nov. 30, 1964, in Cumberland, to Charles Edward Kennell and Anna Kay (Whitehair) Kennell. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Ray and Mary Faith Kennell, Herman and Glenna Bingman, Robert Whitehair; and stepdaughter, Lauren Filer. Todd graduated from Mount Savage High School and worked for Excavating Associates for over 28 years. He was a hard worker and liked history, antiques, and traveling. But he was more content staying at home, sitting and drinking a cold beer and listening to his music. He will be greatly missed by many. Surviving are his parents; sons, Zachary Kennell and Isaiah Kennell; brothers, Jeff Kennell and Burkey Kennell; companion, Michele Robertson-Filer and her children, which were like his own, Matthew Robertson, Mikayla Filer and Evenn Filer; granddaughters, Rose Filer, Natalie and Aletta Kennell; Michele's mom, Gayle Kenney; and his dog, Pee Pee. Friends will be received at Durst Funeral Home, 57 Frost Ave., Frostburg, Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2020, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with a Celebration of Todd's Life at 1 p.m. Due to Covid state regulations, masks and social distancing are required.
