July 02, 2008, Cumberland Times-News - WOODSTOCK - Hope Marie Upton, 7, Woodstock, died Saturday, June 28, 2008 as a result of being struck by a vehicle while riding her bike. Born Feb. 20, 2001 in Baltimore, she was the daughter of Andrew and Stacey (Rodeheaver) Upton. She was the granddaughter of Dwain and Judy Rodeheaver, McHenry. In addition to her parents and grandparents, she is survived by one sister, Andrea Faith, 12, at home; uncle and aunt, Jamie and Jill Rodeheaver and two cousins, Jackie and Jared Rodeheaver, all of McHenry; and many great uncles and aunts; as well as extended family. Friends will be received Wednesday, July 2, 2008 at the Daugherty Family Funeral Home, Pasadena, from 2 to 6 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, July 3, 2008 at Heritage Community Church, Severn, at 10 a.m. Funeral services for local family and friends will be conducted Thursday, July 3, 2008 at Oak Grove Church of the Brethren, McHenry, at 5:00 p.m. with viewing one hour prior to service. Pastor Phil Matthews will officiate. Interment will be held immediately following service at the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jared Rodeheaver, Ronald Rodeheaver, David Doyle, Bradley Rodeheaver, Gerald Rodeheaver and Jerry McKenzie.
