Preceded in death by parents, one sister, 11 brothers and a grandchild. Last surviving member of family. Death terminates marriage union of 48 1/2 years. Member of Rockwood Church of the Brethren, Eagles Lodge 1801, Somerset; and Teamsters Local 24, Akron, Ohio. Construction worker and truck driver, having retired from driving in 1982. Friends will be received 7-9 p.m. Monday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at William J. Wood Funeral Home, Rockwood, where service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday, the Rev. Jay Christner officiating. Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park. Arrangements under direction of William J. Wood Funeral Home, Rockwood, with Francis Brady supervising.
