She died on 22 Jun 2011 at the age of 78 in Frostburg, Allegany Co., Maryland. MIDLOTHIAN — Lois Jean Patterson, age 78, died Wednesday, June 22, 2011, at the Frostburg Village Nursing Care Center. She was born Feb. 22, 1933, in Midlothian, to the late George T. and Regina V. (Weimer) Evans. She was preceded in death by her parents and loving husband, William A. Patterson; two brothers, George B. Evans and John S. Evans; an infant daughter, “Debbie”; and a great-grandson, Keighen McCusker. Mrs. Patterson was a member of the Trinity Assembly of God Church, Midlothian, and Mt. Lodge 15 Eastern Star. She was also a member of Maryland Classified Employees em-ployed by Frostburg State University and Thomas B. Finan Center as Housekeeping Supervisor for 28 years. Surviving are daughter, Barbara K. Goodfellow, Lakeland, Fla.; two sons, William A. Patterson Jr. and wife Kathy, Midlothian, and Walter T. Patterson and wife Joene, Frostburg; a sister, Sandra Fike and husband Ed, Frostburg; five grandchildren, Laura J. McBride, Frostburg, Adam Patterson, Cumberland, Katie M. Mc-Cusker, Frostburg, Tom and Joe Patterson; seven great- grandchildren, Macklin, Ryley and Shaena McBride, Kaden McElhenny, Will, Norah and Samuel Patterson. Also surviving are a sister-in-law, Marilyn Evans, Midlothian, and Esther Biggs, Frostburg, and Mamie Patterson; and 20 nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at Durst Funeral Home, P.A., 57 Frost Ave., Frostburg, on Friday, June 24, 2011, at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Robert Culler officiating. Interment will be in the Frostburg Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to Midlothian Trinity Assembly of God Royal Rangers and Missionettes, Midlothian, MD 21543.
